Diagnostic Clarification & Psychiatric Consultation
Reflective Psychiatry provides diagnostic evaluations, psychiatric consultations, and medication guidance for children, adolescents, and adults across Texas. We specialize in complex or unclear psychiatric presentations and offer careful, developmentally informed assessments tailored to each individual’s needs. A diagnostic consultation typically includes:
•Review of current concerns, goals, and strengths
•Review of prior records and rating scales (if applicable)
•Psychiatric diagnostic interview
•Education and collaborative treatment planning
•Communication with other involved providers (when applicable, with consent)
These psychiatric services are available for patients across Texas through in‑person and tele‑psychiatry options.

Comprehensive Psychiatric Services for Children, Adolescents & Adults in Texas
Consultations are offered across the lifespan, with careful attention to developmental stage, family context, and prior treatment history.
Psychiatric Evaluations for Children & Adolescents (17 & Under)
A comprehensive two-part initial evaluation to obtain a thorough medical, psychiatric, developmental, educational, social and family history with focus on understanding symptoms and needs. The second visit is to provide feedback and come up with a treatment plan for follow up services, if appropriate.
These visits are also appropriate for second opinion consults.
2 sessions: 70 minutes/40 minutes — Child/Adolescent $790
Adult Psychiatric Evaluations (18+)
Adult consultations emphasize on longitudinal history, prior treatment response, functional goals, and diagnostic clarity in the context of medical and life factors. Feedback is provided at the end of this consultation followed by discussion about treatment plan for follow up services, if appropriate.
These visits are also appropriate for second opinion consults.
1 session: 60 minutes — Adults $550
Therapy +/- Medication Management
For patients that have completed the initial evaluation.
These visits are the standard option for patients needing longer visits. This includes therapy visits with or without medication, for those newly on medication and/or requiring close monitoring, or those that need extra support to achieve stability.
Typically 50 minutes — All ages $350
Medication Management
For patients that have completed the initial evaluation.
These visits are the standard for routine medication management. These are most common for those that have a therapist and are stable on their current medication dose.
Typically 25 minutes — All ages $250
Physician-Led Treatment Planning & Medication Review
Medication care is approached thoughtfully and collaboratively, with careful attention to treatment response, side effects, and overall functioning. Visits focus on refining the treatment plan based on diagnostic clarity, developmental context, and individual goals.
Follow-up care is tailored to clinical need and complexity, with the intention of supporting clarity, progress, and appropriate transition when possible.
